Yes, your safety always comes first! While the experience is peaceful, Blåbjerg Klitplantage remains a raw, natural environment with uneven dirt trails, roots, and hills. We provide high-quality, comfortable helmets in various sizes at Basecamp, and wearing them is mandatory for all riders.
Absolutely, it is a wonderful family activity! We have 4 specially designed Kostka kids' kickbikes available for children aged 4 to 12 years (up to 140 cm). For teenagers and adults taller than 140 cm, we use our 6 full-sized adult kickbikes. Please make sure to select the correct sizes when booking to ensure a smooth ride.
Our regular daytime kickbike sessions are strictly for human power! If you want to experience the thrill of your dog pulling the kickbike, you absolutely can—but under strict safety rules. For the welfare of your dog, mushing is only permitted during the cooler early morning or late evening timeslots. When booking, select one of these specific timeslots and make sure to check the mandatory "Mushing Equipment" add-on at checkout. We will then outfit your kickbike with the required safety antenna and bungee line. 🐾
🚫 No add-on means no mushing!
Yes! If you rent the bikes for a longer period, you will have plenty of time to stop, enjoy a picnic, or simply sit and take in the forest views. We will provide you with a heavy-duty lock free of charge, so you can safely secure the kickbikes while you relax. 🔒
A little Danish rain simply makes the forest smell even better! Dress comfortably for the outdoors, and don't worry about the mud—we clean all the gear backstage at Basecamp so you don't have to. If the weather forecast looks truly miserable, you can reschedule your booking up to 24 hours in advance for a small administrative fee of 75 DKK.
Every adult kickbike comes with a secure smartphone mount. You will use your own smartphone with our recommended online app to effortlessly follow our pre-programmed routes or your own custom path.
