Our story & vision 🧭
Founded in 2026, Vesterkilde was born out of a deep passion for the breathtaking Blåbjerg Klitplantage and a desire to do things differently. We noticed that modern tourism often feels rushed, crowded, and disconnected from nature.
We decided to change that. Vesterkilde is built on the promise of premium, small-scale outdoor recreation. We don't do mass tourism. We offer highly maintained, top-tier equipment—like our Kostka off-road kickbikes and tactile escape backpacks—so you can experience the forest in the most authentic, active, and peaceful way possible.
The Basecamp Experience 🏕️
Forget sterile, plastic reception desks or crowded waiting rooms. Your Vesterkilde adventure begins at our unique Basecamp.
When you arrive, we welcome you at our classic, breathable canvas Blue Moose bell tent. Gather around our robust wooden briefing table while we prepare your gear. Need an energy boost before hitting the trails? Grab a cold local beverage or a quick snack straight from our fridge. We take pride in personal hospitality, ensuring you feel completely ready before you head into the wild. 🧃
Behind the scenes, we operate a dedicated backstage setup where all gear is thoroughly cleaned and inspected after every single trip. You only get the best.

Leave No Trace 👌
We enforce a strict Leave No Trace policy. Do not leave any trash, plastic, or food wrappers in the forest. Please bring all your rubbish back to Basecamp, where we have plenty of bins available. Let's keep Blåbjerg pristine. 🌲
